The Vivosmart 5 levels up the fitness game
, by Madhu, 1 min reading time
Coming to the features there is no big update , there is no built in GPS, making it a little under power in comparison to Garmin Forerunner 45 and Forerunner 55 which had built in GPS , but is a good smartwatch under budget. In terms of appearance too there is not much difference from Vivismart 4.The band looks wider as the screen is 66% bigger , the vivosmart 4 was designed to be super-slim , however due to the interval the inclination has been towards larger more usable devices such as the Fitbit charge 5 and Huawei Band 6. Tracking includes sleep tracking , steps, body battery tracking of energy similar to Venu and Fenix , also there is an inclusion of female health tracking too. It also offers guidance on your fitness level . You can also receive a morning report with a screenshot of the key activity data , calender appointments and birthday reminders.
It does not have a GPS tracker clearly differentiating it from the Fitbit charge 5, which catered to cyclist and runners. The Vivosmart 5 is compatible with iOS and Android and you will get notification alerts displayed on larger screen .
