Unveiling watch 5 and watch 5 Pro Samsung has has ended its months of speculation , the new Galaxy watch 4 comes in 40mm and 44m case size option , the Galaxy watch 5 Pro brings out the old classic version to the curb and offers three days of battery life. Both the watches 5’s have Bluetooth or LTE , Samsung is also launching a watch 5 Golf edition . However , Galaxy watch 5 works on Android phones only.

The display features a 1.4inch ,450x450 AMOLED display on the 44mm model has a smaller 1.2inch , 396x396 resolution on the 40mm one. There are different band options available that comes in leather, silicone and metallic mesh looks and is equipped with saffire crystal lens that provides 60% stronger protection against scratches . There are certain features that are exclusive to GW5 Pro . The smartwatch is run on Google wear OS 3.5 , which includes the Google apps and features like Google Assistant and tiles. The GW5 is also equipped with BioActive sensor which allows the measurement of heart rate , blood pressure and a combination of PPG,ECG and BIA sensors. Sleep tracking has also been bolstered which gives you month long programs to help improve sleep time .As far as exercise is concerned , Samsung adds new interval workout support ,it also provides recommends insights for cardio based workouts . The galaxy watch 5 ditches the rotating bezel and offers an enhanced version of sapphire crystal that adds to the durability.

In order to make it more suitable for outdoor tracking , the new D-Buckle sport band is designed , it is also equipped with outdoor tracking abilities and allows you to upload routes to the Samsung Health app but these features do impact the battery life . However watch 5 has a 13% bigger battery than watch 4 , the GW5 is touted with 590mAh capacity battery . It is currently available on pre order and is presumed to be on sale by 26 August.
