According to Prosser, Google has pushed out the launch date to October 2022, coupled with the debut of a premium Pixel 7 smartphone. However, according to Prosser, Google aims to confirm the Pixel Watch's existence at Google I/O, and we should learn more about the company's ambitions. The greater question is when Wear OS 3.0, the major update to the company's wearable operating system, will be released.Despite being announced over a year ago at Google I/O 2021, that software, which is intended to vastly improve on the basic Wear OS experience, is yet to appear on the TicWatch Pro 3, Fossil Gen 6, and upcoming Tag Heuer Connected Calibre E4.It is expected to arrive in the ""mid to second half of 2022,"" according to Google.
Many people, including us, anticipated that the software was being kept back until the Pixel Watch debuted in May. However, if this continues until October, many of these Wear OS devices will be obsolete. In the case of Wear OS 3.0, Google's timeline of 2H 2022 remains unchanged.A smartwatch debut in October makes perfect sense.
