Fitbit further stated that the recorded incidents barely account for 0.01 percent of all devices sold. According to FitBit's sales estimates, over 1 million Iconic smartwatches have been sold in the United States, with another 693,000 sold overseas. Users should cease using the recalled Ionic smartwatches immediately and contact Fitbit for pre-paid shipping labels to return the item.
Consumers will receive a $299 refund after receiving the equipment, according to the Consumer Product Safety Commission.FitBit is available for $200 to $330 at Best Buy, Kohl's, Target, and other retailers nationwide, as well as online at Amazon.com and Fitbit.com from September 2017 through December 2021.The Fitbit Ionic smartwatch was discontinued in 2020.
