It is speculated that Apple could release its extreme sports version of smartwatch this September as reported by Mark Gurman of Bloomberg who happens to be a prolific watcher, that Apple is prepping for a bigger and tougher version to cater its extreme sports fans.

The Apple watch extreme sports could probably entail a larger battery, aimed to cater to the needs of athletes. The Apple Watch 7 however struggles with keeping up to long distance , we can expect a WR50or WR100 as Apple has targeted runners and enhancing the workouts with its latest watch OS 9 update.

There is also going to be a lot of comoetition from the likes of Garmin and Suunto accelerating for water sports, surfing and outdoor adventures.
