Design

The 11.2 mm thick Samsung Galaxy Fit comes with a removable silicone band for personalization. The soft band has a clasp for an adjustable and secure fit. You can choose from colors such as black, yellow, and white.The tracker has a 0.95-inch AMOLED touchscreen that lets you clearly view the data even at the lowest brightness settings. To adjust the screen brightness, you just need to swipe down the brightness level on the main watch screen. This wearable has a waterproof rating of 5ATM, which means you can wear the tracker while swimming in a pool or showering.Tap the single button on the wearable to activate the main watch screen. Launch the quick-start workout by pressing and holding down the button. The heart rate sensor is on the back and fits flush on the skin.

Samsung Health Companion App

The wearable displays a snapshot of the most recent tracked data on the display. However, for exact details, you need to go to the Samsung Health Companion App.Select the Exercise widget on the Home screen and choose the activity for which you want to see the details. This app is compatible with both Android and iOS phones. You need to download the app to your smartphone to and sync it to your wearable.

Fitness Tracking

The tracker has an accelerometer, gyroscope, and an optical heart rate monitor. It has motion sensors to track walks and runs.The tracker also monitors metrics such as resting and current heart rate, stress tracking, breathing rate, daily step count, and calories burned. If you havent moved for quite some time, the tracker will send you an inactivity reminder.The tracker also has sleep tracking metrics such as actual sleep time, REM sleep time, and sleep efficiency. You can check the most recent sleep tracking features on the device.

Sports Tracking

The Samsung Galaxy Fit also has plenty of sports tracking features. It tracks activities such as cycling, walking, swimming, and running.Any other physical activity is classified under Other Workout. All the data is collected based on wrist-based movements. To select the right activity, swipe the screen to the right. Immediately after you swipe and select, the device gives you a 3-second countdown and starts tracking.The device also has an automatic activity tracking feature that recognizes the activity and starts tracking.

Smartwatch features

You can view important message notifications on the device. The notifications are displayed as soon as your smartphone receives them. Swipe right to check the message snippet.If important, you can check it on your phone. You can also activate the quick response option in the Galaxy Wearable app to send a reply directly from your wrist.The tracker also gives you weather forecasts provided by the Weather Channel. Choose from the large number of watch faces on the Galaxy Wearable phone app to personalize your wearable. You can also set alarms, select modes, and adjust notification settings using the app.

Battery life

The 120mAh capacity battery powers your wearable for 7 days on one charge. However, if you are using the brightest display settings, all-day heart tracking and three or four activity tracking, battery capacity may drop. The tracker comes with a small docking cradle for charging. It charges the device in about two hours.
