The Nexus Crossfit gives you complete data insights of cross fit workouts and training. It tracks complex movements and gives you data in terms of reps, tempo, weights, and recovery time.The trackers comfortable design and easy-to-use interface makes it a great choice for every day use. Design

The Nexus tracker looks chunky, but when you wear it, it feels very lightweight and comfortable. This construction allows you to wear the tracker even when youre doing complex workouts as it doesnt chaff your skin or disturb the movement.The tracker comes with a Push band that you can wear in two ways. One, you can wear it with a compression sleeve on one arm. Or, you can use the Velcro strap the wear the tracker on your forearm.

Setup and Operation

The hardware and software of this tracking device are designed by a sports performance company, Push. The tracker is built with a gyroscope and an accelerometer to track and measure movement and its patterns. The movement is measured in terms of velocity. To setup the device, you need to link it to the Nexus app.Use the simple interface to setup the workout. The app has a database of over 140 movements and exercises. You just need to select the exercises that you do to build your workout plan. The app is continuously updated with more movements, so you can build new workouts. There are two workout formats AMRAP (As Many Reps as Possible) and For Time.Nexus is planning to add more workout formats such as Lift, Rest, Skill, TABATA, EMOM, Pre/Post. You also have an option to choose workouts from the CrossFit Classics. Theres a button on top of the band that will start the timer when you start the workout.

Nexus App

The Nexus App has a live workout screen that will show real-time data of cadence and power. The app monitors work, which is the amount of force need to move an object for a particular distance. The measurement is given in kilojoules. The app also displays the rep count of the exercise.The power exerted in each of the exercise is calculated to give you the total power that you used in the workout. While calculating the exercise rep count, the app also calculates the speed with which you complete each set and the power of each rep.A breakdown of the results are displayed on the app. This data will help you evaluate your workout performance and focus on the weak areas of your training. The average power chart shows the fluctuations in the workout. Athletes will find this information useful to plan a consistent workout.The app also gives you a breakdown of workout versus rest time. Sportspersons can use this data to pace themselves in the next workout session.

Battery

The battery offers up to 30 hours of charge for cross fit tracking.
