Design and Build

The headset shell is made of plastic and comes in bright blue. The front plate of the shell has a honeycomb pattern, which gives it a futuristic look. At the base of the plate, there is an additional button that you can use to adjust the position of the lenses.You can move the lenses back and front for the optimum viewing experience. This headset has dual-OLED displays with 2,880 x 1,600 resolution to deliver crystal clear images. The screens have a 110-degree field of view and a refresh rate of 90 Hz. The volume controls are placed on the ear cups. The insides of the ear cups are lined with ear cushions for added comfort.These cushions also cut out external sound for an immersive audio experience. The headband has an adjustable wheel to offer a snug fit. The cushioned ear cups and adjustable headband allow you to comfortably play for hours at a stretch.

Setup

It can take you up to an hour to setup this headset. However, if you have already used a Vive device, then the setup process can be done quickly.The process, however, is simple. Just follow the instructions listed in the online guide to setup and pair the device. Once the app is downloaded to your system, just press the button on the headset to pair it to the computer. You will not get base stations or controllers with this headset.So, if you already own a Vive headset, then you can use the same peripherals. Else, you need to buy them separately. Make sure to get the cables to connect the base stations.
