Without the Samsung software on top, Google Wear OS 3 appears to be rather sleek.

When Google's newest version of Wear OS is released in 2022, it appears that we will get our first peek at how it will look on non-Samsung smartwatches. On Reddit, a slew of pictures from the Android Developer Studio, where developers test apps, were uploaded, showing off the Google-Samsung wristwatch operating system sans Samsung's One Touch UI superimposed on top.Features consist of menu windows for turning on location tracking and Wi-Fi connectivity, adjusting screen brightness, checking battery health, setting timers, and seeing the most frequently used applications and functions, among other things. If these are genuine representations of what we could see on Wear OS 3 smartwatches like the TicWatch Pro 3, TicWatch E3, and Fossil Gen 6, they don't appear to depart significantly from what we've seen on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. The panels display a rather clean, basic user experience with identical menu windows, so we shouldn't expect any major changes. Its not certain if hardware partners like Mobvoi and Fossil, which have stated that their latest watches will feature Wear OS 3, will have any input in the look of the new Wear on their watches. Both have added their own UI touches to Google's Wear, which has only become better with the release of their latest Wear watches. It's possible that hardware partners may wish to do the same thing in the future to help make those watches seem more distinctive.
