Mobvoi has finally released an upgrade to its flagship wristwatch, the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra.
The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra is an incremental update in terms of hardware that comes hot on the heels of the TicWatch Pro X's introduction in China including some new health functions.
First and foremost, the Pro 3 Ultra keeps the 1.4-inch screen with a huge 454 454 resolution and a 326ppi pixel density. It's also the same dual-layer display that shows a low-res FSTN panel when the AMOLED screen is turned off.
Because of this, plus the dual processor that runs alongside the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4100 chip, the Pro 3 Ultra has a battery life of 72 hours and 45 days in low power mode.
It still runs Wear OS, however Wear 2.0 will be included. Mobvoi hasn't stated that it, like the current TicWatch Pro 3, will be updated to Wear 3.0 in 2022, but it's a foregone conclusion.
The design has been improved, and it appears sleeker and more elegant with the etches bezel, at least according to promotional materials. The dimensions, on the other hand, have remained unchanged. The new Pro 3 Ultra, on the other hand, is harder it meets US Military Standard 810G. This is the largest change so far; the PPG sensor can now give more health metrics.
It detects AFib and irregular heartbeats, and Mobvoi claims that it will 'automatically warn you if your heartbeat is too rapid, too slow, or irregular.'
The watch does not have an ECG, instead relying on algorithms that use the heart rate sensor and monitors stress levels, doing "mental fatigue assessments and it will send your energy levels to the TicHealth app and show them.
The TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra costs Rs. 22,446 on Amazon.
