According to recent sources, the Google Pixel Watch will be released in May. According to his sources, Jon Prosser of Front-Page Tech tweeted that the Pixel Watch would be released on May 26. Prosser is a serial leaker who initially revealed the existence and design of the Pixel Watch on his YouTube channel over a year ago. The 26 May release date coincides with Google I/O, the company's developer conference, which takes place around that time of year.Rumors about the Pixel Watch If you haven't been following the Pixel Watch rumors since 2014 (which we hope you haven't for your own sanity), here's a brief rundown: Google has long been speculated to be working on its own wristwatch to showcase Wear OS in its purest form, much to way it did with the Nexus and Pixel smartphones. The unveiling of Wear OS 3.0 fueled those theories, and it now appears that the Pixel Watch will be the first wristwatch to run the new wearable OS after the Galaxy Watch 4. It'll be available on the Fossil Gen 6, Skagen Gen 6, TicWatch Pro 3, and TicWatch E3 models, as well as the Fossil Gen 6, Skagen Gen 6, TicWatch Pro 3, and TicWatch E3 models, which are already available with Wear OS 2.0. The Pixel Watch features we'll see, on the other hand, remain a mystery. It's logical to anticipate a comprehensive list of Wear OS 3.0 capabilities, such as Fitbit-based activity tracking. Wear OS now needs a flagship wristwatch to entice Android OS customers, and the Pixel Watch might be that timepiece.
