After selling the Huawei Watch Fit-like wristwatch in China first in 2021, Oppo has announced that it would introduce its Watch Free smartwatch to the UK. Unlike the Oppo Watch and the Oppo Watch 2, which are currently only available in China, the Free is a far more affordable choice in the Oppo Watch family, with a style that's a cross between a smartwatch and a fitness tracker. It comes in black and vanilla hues, with a 46mm slim rectangular body housing a 1.64-inch AMOLED display with 2.5d glass and a resolution of 280x456.This is combined with a silicone strap to give it a 5ATM waterproof certification, making it suitable for swimming and submersion in water up to 50 meters deep. You'll get a 6-axis motion sensor, an optical heart rate monitor, and a SpO2 sensor to track blood oxygen levels continually. You don't receive NFC to enable payment support, unlike the Chinese version. The Free's 230mAh battery should last up to 14 days, with a 5-minute quick charge providing a day's worth of use.The Honor Band 6 has the same 14-day battery life as the Huawei Watch Fit, however, it doesn't have a quick charge capability, while the Huawei Watch Fit has 10-day battery life. The Oppo Watch Free will be available for Rs. 8,998 on the 24th of March in the United Kingdom. There is no information on pricing in the United States, although it's likely to be under Rs. 7,544.Huawei also doesn't sell the Watch Fit in the United States.
