The Withings Body Scan is a new smart scale from Withings that is equipped with body sensors that can access your nervous system. The Withings Body Scan contains a 6-lead ECG sensor that can examine heart rate rhythms and notify you of indications of atrial fibrillation, as well as a nerve activity sensor in the foot. It can also tell you how much you weigh, how fat you are, and how old your arteries are. The Body Scan contains a year's worth of battery life and a 3.2-inch screen to display your vital information.
All of the data is stored in the Withings app, which has now been enhanced to offer guided programs and information to help you achieve certain goals. The Withings Body Scan may determine your body's fat, muscle mass, and water percentage, among other things. The projecting stem, which is a handle on a cable, utilized for the body composition analysis, is the first thing we noticed about the Withings Body Scan. The Body Scan can determine body composition from portions of the body, such as the arms, legs, and torso, if you hold the handle with your feet on the scale.
The nerve evaluations, of course, are the ones that attract attention. The scale may calculate a single score based on sweat secretion in the foot to measure sudomotor function. In summary, maintaining a healthy lifestyle improves sudomotor function, which indicates that your nervous system is in good shape. Subject to CE/FDA approval, the Withings Body Scan will be available in the second half of 2022.
