Fitbit has officially unveiled the Inspire 2, which comes with improvements in hardware and new software features. Design The Inspire 2 features an enhanced stylish and slim design. It comes with a brighter, more vibrant screen for improve visibility indoors and particularly outdoors. It will be available in black but you can choose between white, pink or black interchangeable bands. In addition to the classic bands, you can also go for the dressier rose gold and silver stainless steel mesh options. You still get the Fitbit clip to attach the Inspire 2 to your clothes. Additional print bands and Horween leather double wrap and standard bands are also available.These band will also be compatible with the Inspire HR and Inspire. Pricing of these bands start from 1,500 INR. Fitness and health tracking The Inspire 2 is built for fitness tracking and covers the basics such as tracking steps, distance, calories burned and serving up inactivity alerts. It will continuously monitor heart rate through the day and the night. It gives you a breakdown of sleep stages including the important REM one. There are more than 20 exercise modes. Fitbit's SmartTrack software can automatically recognise when you're doing a host of sports. Use Connected GPS support to better track outdoor exercises like cycling and hiking. The Inspire 2 is waterproof up to 50 metres depth so you can take it into the pool. The Inspire 2 will support the new Active Zone Minutes feature. This feature will hit target heart rate zones each week.The fitness tracker also ensures menstrual health tracking and offers guided breathing exercises to help keep you calm. Smartwatch features You can receive phone notifications from compatible Android phones and iPhones. You may be able to switch between watch faces like you could on Inspire HR. Unfortunately, there is no Fitbit Pay love or music controls. Battery life According to Fitbit, the Inspire 2 can last 10 days on a single charge, but it will depend on the features you use.
