Sofie Upgraded with GPS, NFC and Heart Rate Tracking

Michael Kors recently announced update its Sofie smartwatch with NFC, heart rate tracking and GPS. The anouncement was made at the CES. Fossil did the same with its range of smartwatches a couples of months ago and it is no surprise that the Michael Kors which is also under the Fossil license gets the feature update.The updated model is called the Michael Kors Sofie Heart Rate and has the same design as its predecessor but is swim-proof to 30 meters. Though Fossil watches are not as accurate as Polar, Garmin or Apple, this new model is good for moderate daily fitness tracking. On the downside, the new Sophie still runs on the old 2100 chip instead of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 processor found in the Fossil Sport.The model is quite good looking but there is not much to its battery life. The Sofie is available in pav rose gold, pav two-tone, silver, and gold colors. The prices range between 22,000 INR and 28,500 INR depending on the choice of color and band.
