The Galaxy Watch 4 has received a major upgrade, including new features and a quirky new limited-edition variant.
Samsung announced a new Kitsune Maison edition of its Wear OS 3.0 wristwatch at its Unpacked presentation, with unique strap patterns and wallpaper for Rs. 29,900.
The collection of watch faces has been updated, with a slew of new features and animations.
Users of the Galaxy Watch 4 may now pick GIFs to use in the My Photo+ watch face.
Info Brick, Weather Center, Basic Dashboard, and Live Wallpaper are among the new watch faces. While the Live Wallpaper is only a decorative image, the others allow you to add complications that display facts and information directly from the dial.
The next feature is gesture control, which now includes the ability to open preferred apps. Until recently, the Galaxy Watch 4 could only dismiss calls or alerts via gestures.
If you're getting false positives from the fall detection function, you may now modify it.
With the inclusion of an animated, hoodie-wearing Bear, the Step Challenge function has been given a motivating makeover.
There's also a new special offer for Galaxy Watch 4 customers, who can get two months of Strava Premium for free. Strava was one of the first businesses to embrace Wear 3.0 applications, and it appears that it is hoping to attract more users to its platform.
In South Korea, the R8xxXXU1DUJA update is going out to Galaxy Watch 4 and Classic models. It will be shipped to the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Germany, Italy, South Korea, Canada, Mexico, and Australia, among other countries.
