In a big upgrade to the platform, smart insole Nurvv has included two new coaching functions.A Running Economy and Form Coach has been introduced to the app, which seeks to help runners run faster and longer.Running Economy is the first new feature, and it works similarly to a car's miles per gallon readout. The Form Coach, on the other hand, is unquestionably the most intriguing addition.The Form Coach measures four crucial variables about your running style using its unique position in your shoes: cadence, foot strike, step length, and execution.Nurvv then calculates the prospective improvement in terms of percentage and time. If you want to run a faster 5K, for example, it will calculate how many minutes you can cut off your current time.But the Form Coach doesn't end there.If you pick an improvement, such as cadence, you'll begin a training block with sessions specifically designed to enhance that feature. Each training block is spread out across a total of 25 kilometers of running, giving you several opportunities to practice your new form skills.While certain modifications in running technique might lead to injury concerns, Nurvv claims that the dangers are small because it utilizes your own specific baselines to improve.Nurvv's approach appears to be unique, in a positive way.We're looking forward to seeing how it performs in practice.
