Keeping up with the tradition that started back in 2018, Apple has released the updated Pride watch faces and bands for the year. Apple introduced two new sports bands, both made of soft silicone material, opposed to the 2019 version made of fabric mesh. Apple offers two choices for its users: Pride Edition Sports Band, and another taking inspiration from the iconic sports brand Nike.Along with the new straps, users also get a new watch face, which will be available with the watchOS 6.2.5 update. Like the strap, users can choose between Nike Edition and Standard Pride Edition for watch faces. The Pride striped watch face which was well received by users also got an update, along with Pride Digital, Pride Gradient and Pride Analog watch faces. Another update is the addition of a Pride version of Nike Edition Analog. The older Pride watch faces can be accessed through the watch Customize option or through the companion iPhone app.Sources have spotted a new Pride variant of many popular watch faces like Numerals Mono, Duo and California in watchOS 6.25 beta. The timeframe for the release of watchOS 6.25 is uncertain though you can already spot the bands in the store shelves. Having no Pride 2020 due to CoViD 19 restrictions, these watch faces may be the way you can show your solidarity to the LGBTQ community during these tough times.
