Huawei has revealed that the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro will include gesture capabilities. Users in China will be able to operate components of the flagship smartwatch with their hands as a result of the announcement. One of these gestures has already been implemented. Raising one's wrist will activate AliPay, while forming a fist will allow users to accept a phone call. Finally, if a call comes in, you may flip your wrist to hush it and reject it. That one has already been sent out globally and is included in the documentation for the 2.0.0.179 upgrade, which was released just a few weeks ago.Huawei has also said that they will not be the default settings. They must be activated manually, which may be done via the Accessibility menu. The gesture controls are comparable to Assistive Touch for Apple Watch, which was introduced for users with upper limb disabilities and launched as part of watchOS 8. The Apple Assistive Touch employed motions for critical functions, but it also allowed users to summon an on-watch pointer, removing the need for a touchscreen. While these motions don't go quite as far as others, they're still valuable features that can be utilized by anybody - not just people who have difficulty using a wristwatch due to physical limitations. We also don't know if the remaining gestures will be published or if they will ever leave China. We expect the smart payments one to remain China-only for the foreseeable future. However, the 2.0.0.179 release includes a slew of other useful features. The control center has been updated to make the Ultra-long battery mode more accessible. There are also nine new watch faces for the super long battery mode, which was previously only available in one. DIY video watch faces are now available (for Android users only), and audio notifications for sports modes have been introduced. The Nordic walking sport profile now tracks SpO2 alongside other statistics, and music storage has been enabled. The update 2.0.0.179 is now available.
