Huawei has released a new edition of its GT smartwatch line, which is aimed towards runners. With specific measurements, a lightweight design, and better GPS, the Huawei Watch GT Runner promises to tailor the GT experience to runners. With a lightweight design, go-faster lugs, and case detail that Huawei claims harnesses "supercar" energy, it appears even more athletic than the lightweight GT2e. Like the Huawei Watch GT 3 series, it has a 1.43-inch AMOLED display and comes with Harmony OS. There isn't much new in terms of functionality, since the Huawei Watch GT 3 is well-equipped for runners, with a slew of running-specific capabilities. The GT 3 already has a lot of the Runner's outstanding characteristics. An additional floating antenna, which enables dual-frequency GPS (previously featured on the GT 3) and enhanced lock, is said to have increased GPS accuracy. The additional antennas are said to provide a 135 percent increase in accuracy over conventional GT smartwatches. It will also include route sharing and track return, which will guide you back to the beginning of a route if you get lost, as well as other features seen in the current GT 3. There's also a running level evaluation and biometric analysis - but it's unclear how this varies from the VO2 Max and other analytics currently available on the GT series. However, the company's TruSport system has been improved, which should increase the accuracy of measurements like VO2 Max, Running Ability Index, Training Effect, and Recovery. It retains the normal GT 3 smartwatch's 14-day battery life (but only 7 days with 'intensive use') and strong smartwatch capabilities. The Runner is currently only set to be released in China, and the price has been set at Rs. 25,492. If it were to be launched internationally, it may cost Rs. 29,723, which would buy you a lot of Garmin/Polar watches. Although the GT 3 appears to have most of the essential features for a lot less, it's an appealing running-focused smartwatch with plenty of perks.
