

Garmin Marq Luxury has a new name

Garmin has moved away from the idea multisport watches and trackers to announce a collection of luxury smartwatches centered on sailing, driving, flying, athletic performance and exploring. The Marq range of watches are called the Captain, Driver, Aviator, Athlete and Expedition.Their prices range from 1,40,000 INR to 2,25,000 INR, way above the company's current most expensive range, the Fenix. You can buy them all starting today. Each smartwatch will feature an always-on, readable display, heart rate and pulse oximeter sensors. Also included are GPS, Garmin Pay for contactless payments, built-in music storage and Spotify support. You can also receive notifications from a connected phone.Each watch features a slightly different design, but is built from titanium and has a sapphire crystal, scratch resistant screen. You can interchange the straps too. The watches offer 12 days in smartwatch mode, 28 hours in GPS mode and 48 hours in the low-power GPS mode, UltraTrac.
