Fitbit has unveiled the Fitbit Sense with ECG, and has confirmed that users will get to use the feature before the holidays. ECG features need to be cleared by relevant regulatory bodies for each country such FDA before they can be used, which translates to long waits. But as mentioned by Larry Yang (source: Wareable), the ECG feature is in final review with the FDA, and it would get clearance in the US and the EU this side of the Holidays. For the Apple Watch Series 4, the ECG feature was first launched in the US and then rest of the world. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has clearance for ECG in South Korea, and in the US, but the feature is yet to arrive. Also, Withings launched the Withings Move ECG in early 2019 but it has still not cleared the FDA.The French company has also announced the Withings ScanWatch at CES 2020 but is waiting for clearance on both its sleep apnea and ECG features. This is all the information we have as of now, look us up once the feature is live.
