Apple Watches Bricked Following watchOS Update

Apple has pulled its watchOS 5.1 after some Watch owners reported that it was bricking the smartwatch. The problems began when a few users downloaded and installed watchOS 5.1.The smartwatch would get hung on the Apple logo screen and no amount of restarting resolved the issue. Reddit and Twitter were buzzing with comments from disgruntled users. The watchOS 5.1 update was replete with new and interesting features like solid-color watch faces and support for Group FaceTime (audio only).It is quite unusual for a consumer-ready update to encounter issues but then hopefully Apple would soon resolve the hitch and roll out the update.
