The TicWatch GTH Pro is Mobvoi's first heart health monitoring smartwatch, according to the company. Thanks to Australian firm CardieX and its subsidiary ATCOR, the successor to its GTH wristwatch has specific heart health monitoring capabilities. The wristwatch measures central arterial waveforms with ATCOR's Arty technology. The GTH Pro can detect artery hardening, which can lead to heart disease, as a result of lifestyle factors. Mobvoi's health-monitoring capabilities don't stop there, with twin PPG sensors that can check both general and arterial health from the wrist or by placing your fingertip on the watch's side. The data will then be shown inside the Mobvoi companion phone app, with metrics broken down into five main analytical points. It's worth noting that, while ATCOR's technology, from which the GTH Pro takes inspiration, has received FDA approval, Mobvoi's wristwatch does not. Aside from its headline-grabbing health monitoring capabilities, the Pro has the same 1.55-inch, 360 x 320 colour TFT display as the original GTH and is available in a single black colour with a 20mm detachable strap like the first GTH. It's waterproof up to 50 metres as a whole, making it safe to wear in the shower and the pool. Continuous heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, as well as skin temperature, oxygen saturation, and stress monitoring are all supported. The GTH Pro is now available for Rs. 7689 from Mobvoi and Amazon, a small increase over the GTH (Rs. 6151). No other wristwatch has promised to follow artery health as precisely as the GTH Pro.
