Mijia is not your everyday smartwatch where you can tweak the watch faces or just simply touch it to perform various tasks. Xiaomi’s latest addition to the tech sphere is a Quartz watch that has smart features and a relatively lower price range.
Carry the classic look of a Quartz timepiece with hidden technology to track your everyday activity and smartphone alerts. Xiaomi has impressed the world with their pocket-friendly pricing of the wearable devices, the Mi Band 3 being the latest addition that succeeds its predecessor and now houses upgraded OLED display and NFC connectivity.
Measuring a compact 40mm diameter, the Mijia is likely to compete with Misfit Command, Nokia Steel and Garmin Vivomove. The minimalistic two-hand dial face elevates the classic look on your wrist while the smaller dial underneath lets you have an idea about the number of steps you walked.
Also, Mijia uses the MiFit application and the watch can track calories, steps, distances, alarm clocks and even vibrates when you are getting a call. A simple navigation through the smartphone application will let you play with its features.
Externally, it has a beautiful stainless steel casing which is finished with mineral glass dial while the straps have quick release function as well. Available in three classic colours of white, black, and gray, the watch has an impressive 30 meters of water resistance as well.
At a retailing price of 3,500 INR, this is extremely affordable for a hybrid watch and is anticipated to hit the global market very soon.
