Fossil registering new watches with FCC means a line is expected to launch soon. The new range of smartwatches from Fossil will now have NFC ability for contact less payment.

The FCC filing sees the new smartwatch line to be dubbed as DW7 and will seven watches in total under this tag. All standard applications are there along with benefits of Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi connectivity. Though there will seven different models, on the inside all will feature the same technology and will differ in terms of colour, strap and external chassis.
As all of the variants will get the NFC connectivity feature, Google Pay for contactless payment is a big thing to talk about. The working frequency of NFC on the watches will be 13.56-13.56, guaranteeing payment directly from the wrist via Google Pay which the world has been missing on a Fossil watch.
