Even as it gets ready to launch a new smartwatch, Samsung has come up with two new editions of its existing Active 2 smartwatch. One of these, the Golf Edition, has included smart features that measure shots and also a specific app that includes the standard 40,000 courses found on proper golf wearables. The company had launched golf editions of the Samsung Galaxy Watch some time back.
The Golf Edition of Samsung Active 2 smartwatch comes in two versions — a 44mm case and a 40mm case. The 44mm one comes in black and the 40mm one comes in pink gold colour. The cost will be 27,000 INR for the larger case and 26,000 INR for the smaller case. This smartwatch will be first released in South Korea and will be later released in the U.S. and the U.K. The Smart Caddy app will show you distances to the pin and a map of the hole. You can also measure shots off the tee. The performance and quality of the Smart Caddy app is important. There are smartwatches like Tag Heuer Connected Modular 45 Golf Edition that have already proved its efficiency in Golf tracking. There are other wearables like the Garmin Approach S40 that are dedicated to Golf lovers and have been in the market for a while. But now devices like the Apple Watch Series 5 and Garmin Vivoactive 4 have good golf tracking features along with a wide variety of other features. The other new smartwatch from Samsung is the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 LTE Aluminium.
This also comes in two versions, a larger 44mm case size and a smaller 40 mm case. There is a choice of black, pink gold and silver in each model and it is a lighter and luxurious option compared to the existing LTE model. The LTE feature enables you to receive calls and messages on your smartwatch even if your phone is not around. The prices are yet to be confirmed, so make sure to visit us for updated information.
