Take Calls Away from Your Phone with TicWatch Pro and LTE

· 2 mins read

The second generation of TicWatch Pro (by Mobvoi) will soon be out with 4G/LTE technology. This watch will still run on Google’s Wear OS. The smartwatch now promises to let you make calls, sync fitness data and receive notifications through wireless connectivity, without having to be tethered to your phone.

The Watch will first be launched without 4G/LTE coverage due to compliance reasons, with the network capabilities to be launched in a month by early August. Mobvoi has therefore reduced the TicWatch Pro’s original price of 27,000 INR by 1,500 INR. An interesting and new feature of this watch is the TicMotion 2.0, a new platform to improve the watch’s fitness tracking feature. This platform uses AI to, for instance identify the difference between a run and a fast-paced walk. It comes with a dual screen that allows users to move between a mode that gives access to all features, and just an essential mode that only provides time but allows the battery to function for 30 days.

The 4G/LTE model will also have Google Assistant and support functions. TicWatch Pro 4G/LTE is available on Mobvoi’s own website and also on Amazon. With the previously mentioned discount on the price, it would be ideal to buy it now and then wait for the LTE coverage. You will of course have to pay for the LTE coverage.
