Garmin has brought Spotify to the Forerunner 645 Music smartwatch, so you can now load up playlists and listen to them without your smartphone. Though the Fenix 5 Plus series were the first to integrate Spotify, but we didn’t have to wait long for the Forerunner 645 Music to get it too.
Those with the 645 Music can now go to the Connect IQ Store from the Garmin Connect app and download the Spotify app. Once the app is downloaded, log into your Spotify account and connect the two services. But only a Spotify Premium user can transfer playlists to the device for that all-important offline support. Free Spotify members can only browse their library on the watch. You can listen to your music on the move via a Bluetooth.
With the 645 Music and the Fenix 5 Plus series jumping on the Spotify wagon, it won’t be far when the Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music gets the Sptify love too.
