A budget smartwatch by the name Realme Watch follows the 3,000 INR Realme Band, the fitness tracker Realme had launched earlier which has already proven a grand success. After the watch’s appearance in Indian market, its next destination is Europe. The watch costs 4,700 INR and is available on RealMe site.
As in the case of any other budget watch, the design of the Realme Watch is closely similar to the Apple Watch. The LCD display of 320 x 320 resolutions and measuring 1.4-inch in a square design leaves a lot of black space in otherwise usable display area. As the running system is not named, we have to assume that it is Android. Realme claims that the 160mAh battery offers 20 days of battery life for each charging, which may be an over-statement. The Goodix’s GH3011 monitor with a SpO2 sensor enables it to detect heart rate and measure blood oxygen. In this regard, Realme has joined others like Huawei Watch GT2e, Oppo Watch and Xiaomi Mi Band5 who all have SpO2.
It can track heart rate round the clock while at rest and during exercise and it has 14 built-in sport profiles. In India, you get badminton and cricket profiles in addition to yoga, running and walking. In India, it is priced at 7,000 INR. It is available from Realme.com or Flipkart.
