The OnePlus Watch, announced recently and reaching the global market for 12,000 INR/15,000 INR, does not run on Wear OS but on its proprietary OS. The features OnePlusWatch includes is impressive and on par with Xiaomi Mi Watch, Huawei Watch GT 2e and Amazfit GTS 2. The notable features in OnePlus Watch are two weeks battery life, stainless steel design and 110 sports tracking. OnePlus Watch specs OnePlus Watch has a circular design with a case size of 46mm.
The case is built with stainless steel and comes in two colours — black and silver. The design favors male customers mostly. The screen is 1.39-inch and has an AMOLED display with a resolution of 326 pixel-per-inch. Blood oxygen can be monitored with the heart rate monitor. The heart rate sensor can also check for stress levels by analysing heart rate variability. It has a built-in GPS, can track around 110 sports activities and can auto-detect activity. It has IP68 water resistance, can measure stroke efficiency — SWOLF, calculate distance and length metrics for swimming activity.
OnePlus Watch has 4GB storage and has features to control OnePlus TV from your wrist. The battery is 420mAh and can deliver power for two weeks with single charge. Fast charging is another handy feature. A statement from the OnePlus CEO which mentioned that they are working with Google to improve the Wear OS led to speculations on this OS being used in OnePlus Watch. The date of launch of OnePlus Watch is still unknown. But it is assumed to be sometime soon.
