Garmin Instinct Solar Let’s start with the Garmin Instinct Solar outdoors watch and are great for multi-day hikes. There are three versions of the Instinct Solar: The standard Garmin Instinct Solar will last 24 days in smartwatch mode indoors and an addition of 50 days with daily exposure to sunlight The Garmin Instinct Solar features a pulse oximeter to measure blood oxygen.
The Acclimation Widget matches that data against elevation, allowing you to check your oxygen levels as you climb. The Garmin Instinct Solar Surf Edition offers 100m of water resistance, has tide times and a surf tracking mode. The new Instinct Tactical version offers 100m of water resistance and hooks up to night vision goggles. Prices start at 42,000 INR, and it is the lowest cost solar edition in the Garmin range. Garmin Fenix 6 Solar The Fenix 6X is a solar version but the standard Fenix 6 and 6S devices are now solar powered.
The 6S Solar now offers 10.5 days (up from 9 days) of battery life with a daily dose of sunlight, while the Fenix 6 Solar gets 16 days (up from 14 days) of battery life. These two versions now offer surfing, mountain biking and indoor climbing assist. Finally, the solar version of its Tactix Delta gets 24 days (up from 21 days) of battery life. Instinct Solar starts at 42,000 INR, Fenix 6 Series Solar Editions at 65,000 INR and the Tactix Delta Solar Edition at 1,00,000 INR.
