It’s is no secret that Samsung is all set to launch a new smartwatch and we have every reason to believe that it’s the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active. According 91mobiles, they have seen a render from a reliable source which is uncannily similar to the factory renders @OnLeaks shared on Twitter last month and claimed was of the Samsung’s next smartwatch.
The render shows off two physical buttons on the side of the device, a slim stainless-steel casing and a sporty strap featuring a watch-style buckle. Samsung’s signature rotating bezel was conspicuously absent but then again, this may or may not be Samsung’s next smartwatch. Other than the single render, we have no further clue about the product. What will be the feature set of this smartwatch? Will it be called the Galaxy Sport or the Galaxy Watch Active? These are questions we still have unanswered. Based on past murmurings, the smartwatch may feature smarter Bixby support and health-focused features.
So, when will they unveil this new Samsung smartwatch? The company’s Unpacked event is scheduled on 20 Feb where we are looking forward its new flagship smartphone. It is highly possible that this new phone could be joined by a new watch and other Samsung devices like Galaxy Buds and new Galaxy Fit and Galaxy Fit E fitness trackers.
