Emporio Armani announced Smartwatch 3 at IFA 2019. Smartwatch 3 is the newest in Emporio Armani’s lineup of smartwatches. Being the perfectionist that Emporio Armani is with its products, it has made a smartwatch in which style meets technology perfectly. Armani is one of the fashion brands that work with the Fossil Group for its smartwatch technology. All the features of Fossil’s Gen 5 smartwatch have been incorporated in the Emporio Armani Smartwatch 3. The main attraction is the speaker on the watch.
The speaker can help you manage calls, access Google Assistant and listen to your favourite music — all from your wrist. With its smart battery mode, Smartwatch 3 promises a longer battery life, extending to multiple days. Smartwatch 3, though not as great a fitness watch as many others in the market, has Google Fit heart rate tracker to track all your activities. The watch is water-proof as well, so you can take it into the pool with you. The NFC-enabled Smartwatch 3 with Google Pay lets you pay for your purchases using the watch. But this option is available only in selected countries. Instant notification is another feature available in Smartwatch 3. Mails, messages, and other notifications pop up on your watch screen. Emporio Armani Smartwatch 3 has a 1.28-inch AMOLED screen with a 328 pixels-per-inch resolution. The watch is Android and iOS compatible.
Smartwatch 3 has a minimalist design with a thick body — about 12mm. The stainless steel case of about 44mm has lugs of yellow, blue, and silver. There are a few different choices available for the 22mm bands, which are interchangeable too. Smartwatch 3 runs on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 3100 chipset, which is the same as most of the Wear OS smartwatches already in the market. With its 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage, Smartwatch 3 lets you download and store more. The Emporio Armani Smartwatch 3 is elegant, handy and is priced almost similar to the Apple Watch.
