Doki has announced a new 4G LTE smartwatch for kids who are 5 years and above. It will include communication, fitness and safety features. The smartwatch is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 2100 chipset, so it can do everything from location tracking and SOS alerts to two-way video calling and basic fitness tracking.
Parent can use the updated Doki App (available on iOS and Android) to communicate and monitor the settings of the DokiPal. They can also set event reminders and geofencing zones. So, every time you child steps outside a pre-set area, you will receive a notification. When set to a classroom mode, all features of the watch get disabled barring time and SOS alerts. Also, the Doki App will contain all the contact and calls from unknown numbers will be automatically blocked. The smartwatch also features the new voice assistant, DokiAsk. It is designed to recognize children’s voices but on the other hand does not provide inappropriate responses to potential queries. All features are COPPA-compliant for data security.
The Doki smartwatch offer three days of battery life on standby, and up to two days in normal use. In order to utilize the cellular features, you need the 13,000 INR DokiPal. The device is compatible with AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon in the US. You can get activation within the app for 800 INR per month. The DokiPal is available in pink or blue and you can place your orders from 10 July.
