Huawei Watch 2 has made its mark in the market and the launch of the new 2018 model brings in the more good news for the fans of Huawei. Evan Bliss, the trustworthy journalist of the Venture Beat was the first to come out with the news of the upgraded 2018 model which now houses an e-sim slot. Huawei seems to have followed the track of Apple and developed a model that replaced the standard sim slot with an e-sim.
The “Carbon Black” variant exclusively has the e-sim feature which means, the watch features like checking for calls and messages along with music streaming can be done even when not connected to the smartphone. This is a smartwatch that works independently of your smartphone.
Similar in terms of specs to the Huawei Watch 2, the 2018 model will also be powered by a Snapdragon 2100 processor along with 4 gigs of RAM and 768mb of internal storage capacity. The 390X30 pixel ratio is displayed well on the 1.2” AMOLED screen for a fascinating experience. In terms of sensors, accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light, heart-rate sensor, capacitance, geomagnetic and the barometer is still there in the 2018 roll out. The 420 mAh battery is big enough to run for 3 days while the IP68 water resistant rating lets you have fun with it.
